The History of Friendly Pines Camp
In 1941 Friendly Pines Camp was founded by Bud and Isabelle Brown and became accredited through the American Camp Association. It is now the longest-running, family-owned summer camp in Arizona. To this day, it is still family-owned and operated by The founders’ great-granddaughter. The camp has offered summer camp experiences to children ages 6-14. and continues to “turn childhood moments into life’s rich memories.”

Grounds
Friendly Pines is situated on 130 acres ten miles southeast of downtown Prescott. With most of the property backing up to the Prescott National Forest, Friendly Pines offers unparalleled seclusion in the Bradshaw Mountains. The camp features over 30 bunk style cabins, indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, a full high and low ropes course, private lake and over 80 years of camp history to enjoy.

Meeting Spaces
Friendly Pines offers many gathering spaces to make announcements or just hang out. Indoor spaces are equipped for any group activities with sound systems, projectors and more. Outside spaces are centrally located and great for large announcements and gatherings. Feeling more adventurous? The meadow and lake shore are also great spots to touch base between activities.
