Health insurance keeps you healthy and in the game, and our 401k with up to 5% match means we're investing in your future right alongside you. The pay is competitive because good work deserves good money. Meals are served on site, communal and shared the way food should be.
And if you need one more reason, the office has a pretty sweet view.

Rentals & Retreats
Rental Director (Year-Round)
Rental Director Job Description
The Rental Director leads the guest experience at CampWay, managing the full booking lifecycle across our three Prescott-area properties while overseeing a team that delivers on every detail. You’ll coordinate across departments, guide staff through group arrivals and operations, and build client relationships that bring people back year after year. This role is built for a natural leader who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, takes ownership, and genuinely cares about the people they work with and the experiences they help create.
Booking Manager (Year-Round)
Booking Manager Job Description
The Booking Manager owns the full client journey at CampWay, from first inquiry to final goodbye, keeping the rental calendar full and every group set up for a smooth, well-executed stay. Most of the work happens after a booking is confirmed: building detailed run-of-show documents, coordinating across departments, and making sure every team knows exactly what to expect before a group arrives. This role reports to the Rental Director and is built for someone who is highly organized, a strong communicator, genuinely enjoys hosting people, and takes real pride in the kind of preparation that makes great experiences possible.
Camp Host (Seasonal)
Camp Hosts are the face of CampWay during a group’s stay, responsible for welcoming guests, leading orientations, and being the person people turn to when something comes up. This is a part-time, seasonal role with a rotating schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and overnight on-call shifts. It’s built for someone who is naturally warm, calm under pressure, and takes genuine pride in making people feel taken care of from the moment they arrive.
Dining & Food Service
Sous Chef (Year-Round)
The Sous Chef is a hands-on kitchen leader responsible for high-volume buffet service and bulk food production across CampWay’s dining operations, serving groups ranging from 50 to 300 guests. You’ll lead line cooks through daily service, own food safety compliance, and work closely with the Food Service Director to keep meals well-executed, on time, and reflective of the hospitality standard our guests expect. This is a full-time, year-round role for an experienced kitchen leader who is calm under pressure, takes pride in running a tight operation, and genuinely enjoys feeding a lot of people really well.
Dishwasher/Kitchen Utility (Year-Round)
Dishwasher/Kitchen Utility Job Description
This role is the backbone of CampWay’s kitchen operation, keeping dishes clean, the dining hall set, and the team running smoothly through every meal service. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on position available in full-time, part-time, and seasonal formats, and a great entry point into camp life for someone who shows up reliably, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely enjoys what they do.
Line Cook (Year-Round)
The Line Cook works alongside our kitchen team to prepare and serve meals for groups ranging from 50 to 250 guests across CampWay’s camp and retreat operations. You’ll own your station, execute recipes consistently, and help keep service running smoothly from prep through cleanup. This is a great fit for someone with solid commercial kitchen experience who takes pride in their craft, works well on a team, and wants their work to mean something beyond the plate.
Program
Outdoor Program Instructor (Seasonal)
Outdoor Program Instructor Job Description
Outdoor Program Instructors are the heart of the CampWay guest experience, leading school groups, retreat guests, and campers through outdoor education lessons, team-building activities, and challenge course elements across our Prescott-area properties. This is a part-time, seasonal role averaging 25 to 30 hours per week, built for someone who is energetic, great with people of all ages, and genuinely excited about spending their workday outside doing something that matters.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping (Year-Round)
Housekeepers keep CampWay’s cabins, restrooms, and common areas clean, stocked, and guest-ready between every arrival and throughout every stay. It’s a detail-oriented, physically active role available in both full-time and part-time formats, and a foundational part of how guests experience CampWay from the moment they walk in the door. A great fit for someone who takes quiet pride in doing thorough work and understands that a clean space is its own kind of hospitality.
Summer Residential Camp
Equestrian Director (Seasonal)
Equestrian Director Job Description
The Equestrian Director leads all operations of Friendly Pines Camp’s riding program, overseeing the care of approximately 48 horses and a team of 12 riding instructors and barn staff across a full summer season. This is equal parts horse care, staff leadership, and youth programming, and it’s a fully immersive camp role, not just a barn management position. Built for an experienced equestrian leader who is as comfortable mentoring a team of instructors as they are handling an urgent horse health situation at 6am.
Well-being Specialist (Seasonal)
Well-being Specialist Job Description
The Well-Being Specialist plays a quiet but essential role in the Friendly Pines Camp summer experience, supporting campers through homesickness, social challenges, and emotional needs while helping counselors and staff build a culture where everyone feels included and cared for. This is a seasonal, full-camp-immersion role for someone with a background in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field who is calm under pressure, trustworthy with sensitive information, and genuinely passionate about helping young people thrive.
Operations (Seasonal)
Operations Team Members are the behind-the-scenes force that keeps camp running smoothly, handling everything from facility setup and equipment movement to supply restocking and event prep at camp. This is a seasonal, full-time role running May through August, built for someone who takes initiative, works hard without needing to be asked twice, and finds real satisfaction in being the person the team can count on to get things done.
