Frequently Asked Questions
Lodging & Facilities
How many people can Prescott Pines accommodate?
Prescott Pines Main Camp, available in the summers, offers up to 212 beds across cabins.
Frontier Village, a subsection of Prescott Pines available all year round, offers 95 beds across 14 yurt-style cabins
What are the cabins like?
Our cabins have been thoughtfully renovated to blend the nostalgia of a classic camp experience with modern comfort. Every cabin is climate-controlled, with a mix of traditional bunk-style accommodations and lower-density cabins featuring full-size beds.
At Main Camp, each cabin includes a private in-unit bathroom, while Frontier Village features beautifully renovated, centrally located bathhouses just steps from the yurts.
Is there air conditioning and heat?
Yes! All cabins have AC and heat to keep you comfortable.
What do I need to bring?
We’ll send a full packing list before your trip, but plan on bringing bedding, towels, toiletries, and clothing for all kinds of weather. At 6,200 feet, temperatures can shift quickly, so layers and sun protection are a must! We provide toilet paper and hand soap, and our cabins are cleaned between groups.
Can we have a campfire?
Yes, campfires are typically allowed when scheduled in trip-planning process, but safety policies are in place. If burning restrictions are in effect, we have propane fire pits available so you can still gather around the “flames.”
Do the cabins lock? Where do I store valuables?
Yes. All cabins at Prescott Pines and Frontier Village are equipped with keypad locking systems, and your group will receive unique door codes prior to your arrival. While we recommend leaving valuables at home whenever possible, cabins can be locked whenever your group is away, providing a secure place to store personal belongings during your stay.
Are there ADA-accessible cabins?
Yes! Some cabins are ADA-accessible, and our team will help identify the best options for your group.
Will I have access to a refrigerator or microwave?
All cabins in the Main Camp at Prescott Pines are equipped with fridges and microwaves for guest use. However, the yurt-style cabins in Frontier Village will have access to one communal refrigerator and microwave in the Frontier Village Dining Hall.
What meeting rooms and common spaces are available? What do they come with?
There are a variety of different meeting rooms and common spaces at camp, such as The Chapel, The Gym, and indoor meeting rooms like Cypress. Use of these spaces can be coordinated with our Booking Team in the planning phase of your trip. CampWay can set up those meeting spaces with tables, chairs, and AV equipment.
Booking & Services
How do I reserve dates for my group?
Getting started is easy! Simply contact our Booking Team to begin the conversation. We’ll learn about your group, including your size, preferred dates, and goals for your trip—then provide a customized quote, share available dates, and guide you through the booking process from start to finish.
Contact us to learn more!
Will there be other groups at camp at the same time?
That depends on your group’s preferences and the size of your reservation. Many groups choose to reserve the entire camp for exclusive use, while others reserve only the facilities they need and share the property with another compatible group.
When multiple groups are on site, we thoughtfully coordinate each experience to ensure privacy and minimize overlap. Cabin lodging remains separate, guided activities are scheduled for your group only, and shared amenities and common spaces are carefully coordinated so every group enjoys a smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. Our Booking Team will help you determine the option that best fits your group’s size, goals, and desired experience.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier, the better! We recommend booking 6 months to a year out to lock in your preferred dates. That said, we do accept bookings as close as a month out, as long as there’s space available! Reach out to our Booking Team to get information on what dates we have available for booking.
What does pricing look like?
Our pricing depends on your group size, type of event, length of stay, and the activities you’re interested in. Reach out to our Booking Team for a custom quote.
What’s required to secure our dates?
A non-refundable 25% deposit and a signed User Agreement will officially lock in your dates. Once booked, our team will work with you to plan your trip and guide you through the process from start to finish.
Can we come for a tour?
Absolutely! We’d love to show you around, just contact us to schedule a time that works for you.
How does billing work?
Groups will pay a 25% deposit upfront to secure your dates. Then you’ll receive a final invoice immediately after your camp stay, and payment is due within 30 days of receiving it.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! Our Dining Team regularly handles common dietary restrictions and food allergies to ensure everyone gets a meal they can enjoy. Be sure to fill out dietary info on the waiver before your trip.
What’s on the menu?
Our rotating camp menu includes crowd-pleasers like burgers, pasta, tacos, stir fry, pizza, and pancakes. Menu upgrades are available for an additional fee, and Wedding Catering menus are customized during planning.
